Author Script Search
Wings

Some years ago I stumbled on a web page where a fellow had a script that
allowed users to write stories/books and have them displayed in a classey
book format. You even got to design the cover of the book, etc.

I would sure like to offer something like that to my users as several are
writers of one kind or another. Any help would be appreciated if anyone can
remember seeing what I'm talking about.

Thanks in advance...

wrote a bunch of PERL with a web interface which you could dump text into,
insert images, pick out some parameters like cover design and spit the
whole thing out as EPS and off the the local print shop where a Xerox Docu-
somethingorother could handle the job right down to 'perfect binding' if i
recall.

that's what.

I don't remember anything about the author or web site - just the neat
little way his routine would put your writing into a virtual book. You could
select things like gilt or old, etc.

Yes, I sure would like to have that. Any help would be appreciated.

Whoops! I probably wasn't too clear with that first message. It was a
virtual book that people could turn pages and read on line.
