OpenVRML comes with mozilla plugin and is recently included in fedora
extras:

FreeWRL is fastest but doesn't support externprotos etc:
http://freewrl.sf.net/
I mostly use Xj3D; but downloading all required jThis and jThat is pain
in the butt:

The best choice for Linux is IMO Octaga (www.octaga.com).
But you can also try Cortona which can run on cxOffice/Wine.
