Hi!
I use the Cosmo Player 2.1 and JDK1.4, and i have also set the
classpath with the right path containing the npcosmop21.zip file. When
i compile the .java file, it passed ,but there's no effect when
executed. Other peopele excuted perfectly on the JDK1.3, why? Any reply
would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!

Hi,

I have the same problem, but with the Octaga Player and with the
Cortona Player. I tried to set the classpath, but I get no effect. I
know that the java class isn't getting the values from the vrml world,
but I can set the values from the java class to the world.

uhh .. I have the same problem ... only Venues plugin correctly works
with Java scripts. Who help with Cortona, what I should do with
classes.zip? compile name_class.java with VRML classes is OK, but in
Cortona player I haven't any effects.

Cosmoplayer Java will not work with the Sun jvm.
You must use either the old M$ JVM with I.E.
or the now archived Netscape 4* series.

Cortona is in the same situation as Cosmoplayer Java wise.
It can only use the M$ JVM in I.E. and Netscape 4* series.

As far as Octaga Player, I know little about it, except the latest
version claims to be able to use x3d SAI with Sun Java. I suggest you
read the SAI spec at
http://www.web3d.org/x3d/specificat...tSpecification/
