Anybody help!
I want to create multi-user VRML world, where each new user that connected
to this world must be visualised in some-kind of avatar...

This means that world must work with some storage of data, database or file.
This database is contained information about X,Y,Z coordinates, nick-name,
type of avatar...

Question...
Does anybody knows how in VRML 2.0 with using Java or somethig write that
stuff?
Does I need to write some kind of special Server program?

I shall be grateful for the examples of a code, links and any other
information ^__^

Unfortunatly the blaxxun public chat server has suffered some random
technical failure at this time.

Actually also aimed at a new standard for multiuser 3d chat systems.
Open source that is.

Yes I see the network won't connect, but what makes you think it is
down for good?
Rick hasn't posted anything in his forum.

Virtual Solar System's Abnet server is online, but then you can't use
it to put your
own world up like vrmlworld.

Excuse me Mr. fabricator ?

On the subject of Multi-user worlds. I am searching for a Multi-user world for snerts. I have a friend who has been banned from every 3D community on the net. Mr. fabricator you seem very knowledgeable on the subject of Multi-user worlds! I am interested in locating a Multi-user world that can handle a school bus full of screaming kids with tourettesyndrome (avatar) .

Please understand I do not condone this form of behaviour in anyway. But given our first amendment rights it seems we have no other alternative but to allow this. Where is that darn NRA when you need them?

Thank you for your anticipated cooperation :)

HAHAHAHAHA! YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE

Actually Rick has posted something about this on his forum. Namely that
he cannot afford the server needed to abnet from he website. He has
asked if anyone is prepared to host the server (well the chat part)
from their own site, but at the same time has basically said he won't
give the system to anyone.
