OpenVRML 0.15.4 is now available. The distribution can be obtained from

<http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/...tar.gz?download>

OpenVRML is a C++ runtime library for VRML97 worlds. It is capable of
reading and displaying VRML; it can be used for creating loaders, file
converters, and VRML browsers.

OpenVRML includes a Mozilla browser plug-in as well as a simple stand-
alone VRML browser that uses SDL.

You can find OpenVRML on the Web at

<http://openvrml.org>

New in OpenVRML 0.15.4:

- Refactored use of GtkGLExt in the Mozilla plug-in.

- Fixed a typo in a dependency of the openvrml-gl-devel RPM package.

Ann,
Any chance you can compile this so it can be run from either windows or dos and
put a download link for that on your page?
Thanks.

In the forseeable future, none.

Making a Windows binary distribution that doesn't suck is very
time-consuming, and I don't have the time to spare. And right now,
OpenVRML isn't very interesting on Windows unless you're developing a
C++ application. In that case you have your own compiler.

The OpenVRML libraries can be compiled with Cygwin gcc. lookat depends
on SDL, which is only available for MinGW AFAIK. It probably wouldn't
be too difficult to get a MinGW build of OpenVRML so that lookat could
be built; however, I haven't tried it.
