Your java traceback listing indicates that you are
attempting to utilize Sun's Java VM plugin to run the VRML Java EAI
Applet. The VRML EAI Applet code won't work with the Sun plugin.
I assume that you are utilizing the Windows XP operating system?
If so, you will need to install the Microsoft Java VM to utilize the VRML EAI.
Several places where I believe that you can still get this VM are:
www.bigblackglasses.com/staff/downloads/msjavx86.exe
ftp://ftp.intergraph.com/ingr/pub/o...al/msjavx86.exe
Just download the file and run it to install the Microsoft Java VM.
You will then need to reboot your machine.

Hi Andrea:
If you have installed the MS Java VM, and you are getting the same error,
then check the following:
On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options.
Click the Advanced tab.
Make sure that all the Microsoft VM options are enabled (check boxes are checked)
Make sure that the Java (Sun) option is disabled (checkbox is NOT checked)
Restart Internet Explorer
To confirm that your setup is running correctly, you could try running the following
VRML Java EAI example:

Hope this helps,

| Well... The example you indicate me run... (I can't understand: why
yesterday it doesn't run??? maybe I forgot to reboot my pc!)
But I saw EAI is only IE compatible... It doesn't run with Mozilla or
Netscape!
Is there any equivalent tecnology running with both IE and Mozilla?
Thanks.

| PS: I need to implement the functionality I explained you in my last message
titled "VRML controlled via JavaScript function in HTML" and I need to do it
in IE and Mozilla to!
Thanks.
