I see no problem here - just use this texture. No need to use Material node
at all. If your object is not transparent where it should be, then check
if your gif is really transparent.

Hi Stefan

Leave the material a regular solid, the transparent parts of the .gif
(or .png) will become transparent automatically.

I see no problem here - just use this texture. No need to use Material node
