Hello! I have a function in matlab that outputs an animation that gets
recorded as an AVI file. Any idea how to make it output as a VRML animation?

Thanks!

The Virtual Reality Toolbox for MATLAB can do this, please see
http://www.mathworks.com/products/virtualreality .

Hello Jan. Thank you for your reply.
I have looked at the VR toolbox...but I am somewhat new and I am finding it
quite difficult. In the recording section of the support website, it states
that you should be an advanced user. I can post my code if you'd like, then
maybe you can tell me if it's too difficult or easy as a few lines...that
would be great.
Thanks.

Joel

Hi Joel,

it's just a few lines. Basically it just involves setting a couple of
properties of your virtual world object. Please see

http://www.mathworks.com/access/hel...d_viewing8.html

and

http://www.mathworks.com/access/hel...vrworldset.html

Good Luck,

Jan
