The ISO14772-2 implementation in Xj3D (http://www.xj3d.org/)
is functional. It is a standalone browser only - and
requires 1.4.

I never succeeded to make EAI works with any Java version ...
But I succeeded to display a VRML scene by integrating the Blaxxun ActiveX
control within a Java standalone application using SWT. And then I can
interact with it :-]
But it's :
- not compatible with other OS than Windows
- less easy than an Applet : the user need to manually download your app
....

If you're interested, I can give you some java sources by email.
