| The male member actually was standard in Av Studio, and just commented

I sure would like to try out these other Av Studs. Like the one that
makes the avatars in iCity. I have seen many avatars, obviousely
exported from av studio, but with hair and accessories that were never
standard on the versions I have used.
Meanwhile, if anyone knows how to make a .lio file, or can explain or
diagram just how the .dfm files deform 3D coordinates, I will be
deeply indebted.

the .lio files were produced using a plugin for 3d studio. Only Canal+
had this plugin and I never did get any reply from them about it.
The dfm files move vertices around. I think I manged to mess with some
of them but that was over a year ago.
