Comparative AgpGraphicsCard: Nvidia W0N!
Test:
PC:
mobo: factor ATX: socketA-MSI-KT3Ultra2 KT333-8235 (MS-6380E)-AMDK7
ram: (PC2700 333Mhz 256MB DDR/CL2.5 TwinmosDIMM)*2
cpu: AMD AthlonAX2100DMT3CAGOIA 1999 XP2100+ 1.73GHZ 256KL2 FSB 266MHZ
hd: 60GB-72maxtor-D740X-ata133-DiamondMaxPlus9
GraphcsCard:
bus AGP: asusV8170-nvidia-geforce4-MX440-SE-128DDR
bus AGP: atiRadeon9000-128mbDDR-Sapphire
avec:
'citt1.wrl' at 'http://web.tiscali.it/lafdsp'
su:
Cortona VRML Client 4.2 rel.93 with M$2kpro-sp2-DX8.1

Thanks for attention and I have a question:
is best use a large file .wrl or use many Inline node for make
faster the navigation in the world with 5MB-around filesize not .gz
with medium-large size texture?
The world dimesion is approx l=100mt.
I have tried to decrease most possible the number of polygons
but I think that it is not (raginevolmente) this the factor that determines
the heaviness of the world as the management of the animations also more
fundamental.
My approach with the hud in any cases to determined unbelievable slowness
also in here cases where was owed only determine the actual position!
Creating more that other places of imagination where is fundamental
a good person graphic surrender for visualize a relaxing environment
where listen to of the good sound viewing that (cho) I have about me
he would like create places with a side of at least 500mt without duty use

I have not used of DEF intention and USE node for the repetitive objects:

Ho visto il mondo è mi è piaciuto buone le texture ottima
l'ambientazione un po pesantino per il mio personale computer
ma comunque scorrevole.

not really much of a surprise here.

Cortona isn't so good at dealing with very large scenes. It tends to
bug down with large numbers of animated objects also. You really
should use DEF/USE and PROTOs.

Try Blaxxun Contact 5.104 or BS Contact 6.1 these are alot faster even
when fed 3 Kilometer worlds.

Sound like your world is CPU bottlenecked and thusly more effected by
driver software changes and card specific optimizations within the
VRML plugin itself.

grazie gian, adesso il massimo è 160*80 circa.
escluso il dosso di delimitazione di 7mt.

ti faccio poi vedere. ric
