| Hello,
I have problem with EAI. I've tried a lot of EAI examples page on the web,
but none work.
In my Java console, I can read :
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: vrml/external/Browser (or sometimes
com/ms/com/IUnknown)
What can I do ?
My config :
- Blaxxun Contact 3D v5.103
- JRE 1.3.1_02 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM
- IE 6

| Last time I bothered to look blaxxun contact eai implementation only worked
with the old Microsoft jvm.

| Ok well first, read this very recent "multiuser" titled thread in this
very same
group, it covers the same problems.

In a nut shell you can't use the Sun JVM, which is what you have
written here.
You must use either Microsoft JVM or Netscape 4* series.
After the JVM issue is solved there may be classpath
problems because of multiple vrml plugin installations that
have fouled things up. But one step at a time.
Again, please read the "multiuser" thread.
BTW with your previous post on Avatar Studio avs for other
plugins and this post, I take it you need this info
for a java based multiuser server like VRSpace, V-Net
or Deep Matrix? Would love to see it.
I have done some modifications to the Deep Matrix
applet myself which you can find here:

EAI works only MS JVM.(not Sun's JRE)
