Author printing vrml objects from IE 5

I have been using VRML code to position text vertically over an image
of a form (I know its crazy but only solution to another problem)
anyway I find that the browser needs to have its page setup exactly
right to print the vrml text in excatly the right position. But
sometimes this works and sometimes the positioning is way off. Is
there any resource that anybody knows off which might guide me through
this problem?
Any advice gratefully received.
Robert
