Hello,
with vrmlpad I build some scenes that uses a lot of the extended protos
offered in vrmlpad, they are from these files:

Open Proto Library for VRMLpad.wrl
Blaxxun Contact 3D 5.0.wrl
ParallelGraphics Cortona 3.1.wrl
GeoVRML 1.0 Cortona Native.wrl

these files are include in my vrmlpad. But when I want to watch my scene
offline the protos can not be found anymore.
Is there an automated way to get my scene viewable offline es well. It would
be a hell of a lot work to find all PROTOs I used, then find the according
..wrl-file in the internet, extract the proto I used and then put it all
together again ....

Hello Robert,
nice to here that somebody rally use the Open Proto Library for
VRMLpad. About your problem, very easy just do it this way (define two
urls of the externproto one is local and one is anywhere at www):

EXTERNPROTO SpaceSensor [
eventOut SFVec3f translation_changed
eventIn MFNode addChildren
eventIn MFNode removeChildren
exposedField MFNode children
field SFVec3f bboxCenter
field SFVec3f bboxSize
]
[
"SpaceSensor.wrl#SpaceSensor"
"http://web3d.vapourtech.com/library/vrml.php?mode=proto&id=19#SpaceSensor"
]

Karamba!

If I specifiy "SpaceSensor.wrl#SpaceSensor" (wich is done automatically
anyway). When watching this file offline, he can not find SpaceSensor.wrl
