| The page of Trapezium with all informations and downloads are gone. I
have opened a mirror where you can download last version of Chisel and
WebChisel (renember WebChisel can write VRML files as X3D files).
The english documentation and the Mac Chisel page is also available.
WebChisel is an applet and can run on any browser that have Suns Java
VM installed.
For Newbs: Chisel or WebChisel is an code optimizer for VRML will
check the syntax, delete errors and optimize the code without editing
the maesh.

| Hello! I can't get the Chisel-program to work. I'm running WinXP and Sun
Java 1.3.1_09. The Chisel directory is added to the path, but the
application just won't start. When I double-click the chisel.exe, nothing
happens. Any ideas on this?
Thanks,
John
P.S. Couldn't get the webchisel to work either. exception:
java.lang.NullPointerException.

| Hello John,
Chisel uses JRE 1.1 that is bundled with the proram at the JRE folder.
So do not add any specific Java path.
To run WebChisel you must be online because some files located at the
NIST server. I tried it but using the newest version of java. I heard
some people that said that 1.3x is buggy and not recommended (try
newest ;) ).
Hope this will help!
