Are there any sites, that have for download, Vegetation such as trees,
plants, flowers, shrubs etc? They can be full 3D objects or just
billboards/sprites. However they must be VRML 2.0/97 format. Preferably
free, but will look at non-free sites as well if they are reasonably priced.

Thanks for that. A good site for Flowers.

However, I'm just wondering if anyone knows if there are some good sites out
there for Trees?

If you have acess to maya 5, there u have paint effects, there u got
hundrets of brushes: trees, flowers gras, clouds, animals . you can convert
them to polygons and the export to vrml97. The good thing of these brushes:
If you cretae i.e. 10 Trees of the same kind they still all look different
because their appearance and geomtetry will slightly randomly varied. And
they are all really realistic loking. Its of course full geometry but you
can specify the amount of detals (faces).
