joysticks and VRML?
|
|
|
| Hello,
I'm contemplating VRML/X3D as a delivery format for some interactive
spaceflight games/explorations. Are there any VRML viewers that allow
the use of a game controller such as a joystick?
Thanks : )

FreeWRL has various joystick drivers (navigation only), there is also
support for Spaceball/Spacemouse.
At least the lastest Xj3D development version come with a new Input-
USB-joystick driver.
According to
http://www.bitmanagement.de/develop...howJoyStick.wrl
Bitmanagement ("Blaxxun") contact has joystick sensor support
If you need a joystick to build animations, you should take a look at
the white_dune VRML97 editor.
