Author Multiple viewers use browser for debugging

I am at the stage of trying to debug a world (which displays and
executes without errors in Cortona and MS IE 6.0) for cross-viewer and
cross-browser compatability. Is there some way in MS IE 6.0 and
Netscape Navigator to install all the major plug-ins (Cortona, Blauxn
and ComsoPlayer) and then toggle between the versions. This would
greatly speed up my debuging time. Currently, I am starting to
install a browser and viewer combination on different machines. A
usenet search references a former/moved FAQ by Bob Crispen, for which
I am unable to locate a current location.

Thanks - Kurt

Have a look at
http://www.hersto.de/VRML_Tools/BrowserSelector.html
This contains a few .reg files that switch between the three
VRML Players (Contact, Cortona, Cosmo) by setting the CLSID
in the registry that IE uses to load a VRML file.

I'm not sure if it works with all configurations. Please tell
me if it works for you.

And it works only for IE.

For all other Web browsers, BS Contact VRML has an entry in
the start menu that correctly registers it for VRML files.

Thanks, Herbert, I'll have a look at it. - Kurt
