Hi,

we are in the process of recoding/optimizingthe
the X3d NURBS components in your system
(www.zgdv.de/avalon). For testing we are looking
for XML or VRML encoded X3D NURBS data.

There are some example on the blaxxun-page but
I'm looking for more complex cases and some
exporter or converter:

1. Is there a Inventor to X3D (with nurbs)
converter? All the vrml1To2 converter justskip
the nurbs nodes.

2. Is there a Maya exporter for X3D whichcan handle
nurbs?

white_dune has a simple modeller that can be used to create NURBS nodes, see
http://www.csv.ica.uni-stuttgart.de...e_en.html#nurbs
it can also write VRML encoded NURBS data.

spazz3d can also write VRML encoded NURBS data.

I heard about a script node based rhino3D exporter, but i do not know its
current status...
