This post is to inform both PC and Mac users that there is finally a
commercially available video monitor which produces a high resolution,
free-floating 3D image. This monitor will work with all of the 3D
games you already own as well as VRML web pages. No additional
hardware is needed. Just plug the monitor into your video card's
monitor port.

The monitor has a high-resolution, 15 inch viewable area which also
extends outward from the monitor towards the viewer. You can put your
hand through the projected image.

This monitor is available from my very small Chicago up-start. For
all the details, please follow this link-

| Our monitor combines LCD shutter glasses with a second 3D technology

Possibly a variant of the "Dresden 3D" technology:

No photo's of the unit will be publicized until after the holidays.
This device is not patented yet and it's appearance is something of a
give-away to it's operation.

Just wondering how vrml will it play apart in this? Seems that it is
another type of viewing altogether going by the other site.
Stereo viewing looks different from vrml.

There are already some VRML browsers for virtual reality.
Eg. there are browsers for monitors and shutterglases, Head mounted Displays,
"Dresden 3D" like autostereoscopic devices or "CAVE" like multiwall
stereoscopic projection.
