| Lighwave
Cinema 4D
Maya
3DS Max
Softimage XSI
and a lot of others. It is impossible to say which one is best. They
all are comparable when it comes to feature list. Each software has
advantages and disatvantages. So it depends a little bit on what you
are looking for and how much money you have. I personally prefer Maya.

There are lot thing to judge, but some arguments are
With Rhino you can control the number of exported polygons very simply.
Can you do the same with your version of 3d studio MAX ?
3d studio MAX can import rather complicated VRML97, including animation,
PROTOs and some VRML Sensors.
Can you do the same with your version of Rhino 3D ?
so long
