| I have two programs that are required to be installed on
Win 2000. One uses SQL7 runtime version and the other uses
SQL2000, is there anyway to have both of these installed
on the one OS ????

| Luke,
SQL Server 2000 supports "named instances". Check out the SQL Server 2000
Books Online for additional information on "named instances".
Good places to start might be the sections "Multiple Instances of SQL
Server" (architec.chm::/8_ar_cs_9i5u.htm) and "How to install a named
instance of SQL Server 2000 (Setup)" (howtosql.chm::/ht_install_259u.htm).

Please reply only to the newsgroups.
When posting, inclusion of SQL (CREATE TABLE ..., INSERT ..., etc.) which
can be cut and pasted into Query Analyzer is appreciated.

| yes...so long as you install them in separate folders.
