shorten space between list items

| Is there a way to control the space between lines in a ordered list?
The first problem seems to be that all 3 major browsers go about this
differently. In IE I can use line height, but that affects of that are
different in firefox and safari, both of which seem to act like
paragraphs, where as IE by default seems to act like a <br />.

If you want a more consistent pattern over browsers on this one,
use the above advice, even specify padding too.
