Author Image Problem?

I am using a 3-column layout with a full-width banner area
at top. I need to put a jpeg in the top serve as the header.
The placeholder for the image shows in the upper left corner
in IE6, FF, & Netscape, but the image doesn't show in any
browser. Please help.

Sounds like you have the path wrong. Of course this is just a wild guess
as there are no references included in your posting...

Imagine my surprise was when I uploaded the html file to
a
server and when it was opened online, the graphic was
there. But it still won't show it locally...?

The group crystal ball has just rolled over my desk. It says you have a
problem with upper-case / lower-case letters in the path.

No. I have no intention of imagining anything.
If you want help, post a URL so that we can _see_ what you're doing.
