I have a rather large html file where hyperlink specs are contained in
a CSS file. When clicking or hovering there is about a 5 second delay
before there is evidence of the link (when the hand appears or there is
movement to a target). In an experiment, if I eliminate most of the
material in the html file but leave a few links, hyperlink reaction
time is very quick. Can anyone explain why this is so?
