Sorry to be harsh, but: nonsense. People complain about multiposting
(which you did) far more often than crossposting (which you didn't).
What muddies the water is that a lot of people use the word
"crossposting" incorrectly to mean multiposting.

People complain (properly) about crossposting to unrelated
newsgroups, but multiposting is ALWAYS wrong. If you have two
different aspects to a problem, craft a separate message for each;
don't just duplicate your message in multiple groups.
