Problem with wext inivisible in IE till you scroll the window?

I'm testing a new layout for my Aero Club webpage.

I have one problem, for which that I haven't found a solution yet.
Maybe you could help me.

When you browse this page in IE the text in first news (with purposely
too heigh img) is invisible till you scroll the IE window. After that
it is normally showed. Can you tell me why it act in this way and how
can I fix it?
