Author button look links

Hi

I made a links list which looks like buttons.

http://lingo.uib.no/v5/buttontest.html

I'm stuck now. How do I get the black border right when the button is
pressed? The thing is, buttons really have TWO borders, making it even
more 3d-ish. So I had the links in spans with a thin dark grey border to
wrap a container around the link, but it didn't work out.

Oh yes, I use Gecko as renderer.

Has this been done or discussed yet?

Thanks!
- Daniel

PS I don't want to discuss pro and cons as to how (not) smart it is to
disguise links as buttons; it's really nonsense. This is just an
exercise for me.

I made some changes now, and used Gecko to verify the results along the
way.

Please compare this page: Gecko vs. IE.

Yikes. Can't they agree on ONE way to read/render CSS? *sigh*
