There is a menu on the left- its floated to the left.

the div with id all is supossed to have a margin-left but its being
ignored.

why ?

Never mind it was YASM.
(yet another stupid mistake)

However If anyone wants to make any suggestions about the layout, please
do. The CSS layout has been one nightmare after another.
