Comment faire pour qu'un texte trop long passe à la ligne automatiquement
dans un <span> inclus dans une <div> tous deux de largeur définie ?

Un SPAN n'empêche pas qu'un texte passe à la ligne. Il doit y avoir
quelque style comme whitespace: nowrap; qui le bloque.

Quick translation: how to let a text automatically wrap inside a SPAN,
itself inside a DIV, both of them being of defined width?
My tentative answer: there is something weird here, as a SPAN doesn't
have a defined width. So either the specified width is being ignored, or
the SPAN is displayed as a block. In both cases, the text should wrap
automatically. So it must be something else... (Just a guess).
Please, upload a test webpage that shows the problem and post its URL.
Bill, c'est vraiment comme ca que ce forum fonctionne : cree une petite
page avec uniquement les quelques DIVs et SPANs qui permettent de mettre
en evidence le probleme, mets cette page quelque part (free.fr,
peut-etre) et donne le lien. Les gourous de ce groupe pourront alors
mettre le doigt sur ce qui ne va pas des la premiere reponse.

I've found the problem.
These divs are text boxes.
As a test I wrote anything in them, including a series of letters and commas
but no space.
One of these series was longer than the including div.
