Author CSS and my list ID for Nav
Rob

I've been working with a ss sheet to format the list of links for my
nav.
I swear it used to work in IE6 but, now...there's extra color to the
right of the list.

Any help appreciated!

Since there are several colors and we don't know what your page looked like
before, and since you don't mention whether you're talking about the level 1
or the level 2 headings or both, psychic powers will be required for us to
determine which color is the "extra" one.

It may not be related, but you can't have a UL directly inside another. Put
it inside an LI.

quirks vs standards mode.

You need an appropriate DOCTYPE.

To clarify:
The gray that extends beyond the blue main nav.

Consider that:

You've assigned a shade of gray as the main list's background color.

You've specified that the blocked anchors in the list items should be blue,
and that they should only be 88% as wide as the list.

You're surprised that the 12% of the list not hidden by the blue anchors has
the gray background that you said it should have.
