Care to elaborate, when does it not work? Or are you the author,
trying to draw attention to it, but too vain to simply ask for our
comments?

A clumsy solution since it requires placement on every page, instead of
a single hack in the external css file like with Tantek's hack. The
solution suggested there also fails to take into account IE5 on Mac.
>If only it worked :-(
Note that if you are using the hack to run multiple versions of IE on
2000 or XP then conditional comments do not work.

Aha, that'll be it. So this hack (running multiple versions) is a poor way
to test MSIE5 :-/

You should be aware that there are differences, conditional comments are
executed as if it's IE6, no matter what the rendering engine version is.
There are more differences afaik, but it's still helpful to be able to
use the rendering engine of other IE versions.
