Want your site critiqued by a professional? How does free sound?

| Hey everyone,
I'm a professional web developer and designer for an agency in Atlanta,
GA, and I'm one of the lucky ones who gets to do his passion for a job.
However, I've noticed recently that I've had a strong desire to help
others with their websites because there are a lot of people out there
who have literally no clue. That's why I started the site "Fix My
Site". The way it works is you send me an email with your URL and what
you want looked at on your site, I take a look at it and post my review
on my site. However, I don't pull punches. If your site sucks, I'll
tell you it sucks. I won't, though, just leave it at that. The best
part is that my advice is free, and all I ask for in return is that you
comment on the review of your site, and if you want, link back to the
site or your personal review. My goal is to help, so every review
comes with many helpful pointers. I aim to do one review a day during
the week.
The site is http://fixmysite.blogspot.com, and my email is edelman dot
jason at gmail dot com.
Hope to hear from you soon!

Congrats, you can run a validator. Clearly you didn't go to the site.
I created it on Blogger. It's a pretty well known fact that Blogger
sites don't validate, and I'm well aware of this. However, this
doesn't mean I don't know anything about valid code. If you want to
buy me hosting and a domain name, be my guest. Until then, free
hosting from Blogger. If you want to try to cut down my credibility,
go to the site and read one of my articles and try again. Good luck.

Yes I can, and yes I did. Was kind of amusing. Once I increased the text
size a couple of times, I could even read it. Gray on white and orange
on white are not visitor-friendly.

Then one wonders why your post didn't contain that caveat?

The check is in the mail.

So ... you can't afford three or four dollars a month for your own
hosting?

I did read several. Not much different than replies to a critique in
this newsgroup.

That's always a good thing.

Also, if he works for a web design company why does he not just use
some space on one of their servers?.

And low and behold, the advice is free and the majority of people in
this group are web designers, but some of us do it for a hobbie.

My site is hosted for free in the U.S and validates as Strict in both
XHTML and uses valid CSS.

Well, for starters, the search engines don't read JavaScript. Being an
SEO, you should know this. Also, there is very little content in the
couple of pages I looked at.
Ex: I clicked on "Adhesives" and got a purple, nearly-empty page.
Purple is my default background color; you haven't assigned one. And
yes, I have JavaScript disabled, so I will see just what the Googlebot
sees.
