1. No navigation when JavaScript is disabled (as may corporate firewalls
do), or by user choice or availability. Never use JavaScript for
anything important.

2. Terrible nested table markup.

3. Microfonts. Use font-size: 100% instead of px so Internet Explorer
users with vision impairments can resize it.

4. The scheme looks like .. well .. like thousands of other sites with
the blue and orange colors.

5. Errors:
<http://validator.w3.org/check?verbo...oodsdirect.com/>

6. Since there was no navigation, I didn't look beyond the main page.

Please quote when you reply.

Get the Firefox browser. Increase the text size to 150%. Observe how
your layout looks awful.
Full justification ("If you're hungry enough, ...") is poorly done by
web browsers. It especially shows badly on narrow columns like your quote.
Also your grammar is lacking: Double and Single quotation marks are
alternated in English, starting with double quotes in North America.
You content text size (11px) is 65% of what I find comfortable. I have
no desire to squint. If you like small font sizes, reduce the size for
your browser, not mine.

You have no DTD spec whatsoever. Use HTML v4.01 Strict:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN"

Fixed width design. Not very friendly for small screens like handhelds.
The menu does not fit in the menu because I have minimum font size set
in my browser. The text extends beyond fixed size background you allotted.
Antiquated table-based layout. That was fine in 1998 before the advent
of CSS.
Spacer GIFs? (!)
Many of the HTML markup elements are not used.

Menus: See <http://css.maxdesign.com.au/listamatic/>.

Others have already spoken for the code, but I will just say that I like
the logo. The 3D thing is very effective. Good job there.

What everyone else said, plus:

There is nothing on your home page that explicitly says who you are or
what the site is for. I would expect to know what it's all about within
the first few sentences. I read everything on the home page (what wasn't
obscured by the broken layout, anyway) and I'm still not exactly sure. I
didn't bother going past the home page.

In Firefox clicking "Click here to see contents of the Freedom Unit" does
nothing.
