Blue Wolf Web Design

What is your opinion on the website design and graphics used.
Possible improvments and solutions would be appreciated.

Please can I have comments on website design and not on subjects that aren't related.

I admit I'm not that great at design but after the effort in the site I would appreciate it if you could come up with a better coment than it's shit and maybe a reason why which I asked for in my post!

Don't be so snotty to new designers, we all started somewhere!

For any further post I would like it if people had a reason and a solution for their comments.

I have just updated Blue Wolf Web Design!
What do you think of it?
Please give comments I could use to improve the site!

Well, it is too difficult to say what`s wrong on your site, because there is just a few (bad) graphics and a few text. Simply, there is nothing to review...
Try to browse the web, there is a lot of good designed sites. Obviously, you have a minimum experiences in web design. As Lenin said: learn, learn, learn...:)

First you say there’s just a few (bad) graphics.

What are the bad graphics and what do you suggest for improvement?

I am starting out in web design that’s why I use forums like this one!

As I said before, I don't want reply's like Kilemol's reply.
They aren't useful and are just trashing my work.

i agree with you. i was once a shit designer and im not afraid to admit it. its not bad for a first site. i've seen far worse. on the other hand its far from the best site i've seen. try researching other portfolio or design firms and see what you like and dislike. don't steal a person's design, but get a sense of techniques or things you'd like to learn and then try for your own design. get a color scheme too. it takes time to master good design. dont get discouraged.

That's nice of you.

Have a look at zen garden - search on Google - and other detailed, neat css sites.

Not everyone has the ability to become a web designer, but a lot of it can be learned :)

Your site is a good start, but it needs to become a bit more "clever" design wise if you want it to stand out.

Drop the flash, drop the "bulbs" on the links and concentrate on layout, colour and good css code. The other touches can be added later.

I read in a book "Don't design a site around a single object (such as a graphic), but design the site as a whole, bringing colour, fonts and graphics all together in a whole package".

It helps to think like that really :)

Good luck, you can obviously take constructive critisism onboard (unlike most people!) so you'll learn and become a good designer. :)

Thank you for your reply!

I'll experiment with css and the layout of the content to see what works and what doesn't.

I'll post again when I have made an update to my site!
