I want to protect certain pages of my web page. I found a link, but it no
longer works

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Password protected folders are a server side function. Look in the Support
and FAQ section of your webhost for how they provide password protected
folders.

David Bartosik's material was moved. His comment about password protection
