Certain things have stopped displaying.....

| Hello, I am using MS Publisher 2007 to create a web site. So far I have had
no trouble inserting text boxes, images, HTML code, hyperlinks, etc. However,
just starting yesterday, everything I now insert doesn't appear/display when
I go to "web page preview", nore does it display even after I publish my web
site to the web. I have tried viewing the web site on a different computer
and the newer text/images don't display on that computer either. All the
images/text I created before yesterday still display fine; the problem only
just started. I have also tried deleting some of the older images that did
work, but when I re-insert the images they no longer appear.
Please help
Thank you

| I was hoping that someone else might answer this, as I can only guess as to
a solution.
First, if you are inserting the images into a Master Page, move them to the
regular publication pages. Don't use a Master Page with a web publication.
Next guess is you have a driver problem. I would first check for an updated
video driver for your computer, and then check for an updated printer
driver, believe it or not.
Another stab in the dark...is your Pub doc on your hard drive, or on
removable media? Always work from your hard drive.
Does this problem with images happen when you open a new Publisher template,
and do a web page preview?
Have you perhaps tried a Save As to a new file name, and then open the new
file?
Have you cleaned out your temp folders recently? Open IE > Tools > Internet
Options > Delete temp internet files.
Are you using IE7 or IE6? If you are using IE7 did you get that "upgrade"
from an automatic update from MSFT?
Are you running Vista or XP?
What antivirus software are you running?
Like I said, I am taking "educated" stabs in the dark here, but answer the
questions, and perhaps it will lead to a solution.

| All images are on regular publication pages; i.e. no master page
All my drivers are updated and working fine.
My publication is on my hard drive.
When I open a new publisher template and insert images they work fine.
I have cleaned out all my temp internet files.
My IE 7 is up to date.
I am running XP.
Using Norton anti-virus but I have even tried with it turned off and the
images still don't appear.
Furthermore, I created some new publication pages in the same publication
document and inserted new images on those new pages and they displayed fine.
It seems as though only certain images on certain pages are not displaying.
However I have put the exact same images on other pages and they have
displayed fine there.
For example: On pages 1-5 all images display fine, on pages 6-10 only three
out of the five images on each page display, and on pages 11-15 all images
display fine. Perhaps I did something to pages 6-10 that I am not aware of
that is preventing certain images from showing.
I very much appreciate your help. I will continue attempting to fix the
problem and will keep you posted.
Thanks

| It sounds like something in your design or layout may be creating the
problem. Perhaps try to select the images that are not viewing correctly, go
to Arrange > Order > Bring to Front. Do your web page preview. If that
doesn't work, try dragging the picture frame down to the bottom of the page
outside of the design, and see if that helps. If so, study your design and
maybe modify that?
