Author Powerpoint link in a Web page ?

I have prepared a Powerpoint presentation that I would like to insert as a link in a Web
page, "html" format. This presentation is basically a collection of images, in "pdf" or
"jpg" format.
My question is : will I be able, somehow, to open the presentation from inside the page by
just clicking on its link (which syntax ?) or, in order to view it, I would have to
right-click it, choose "save target as" and then open it on my PC in an offline mode ?
I would appreciate some help as I am at a loss as to what to do.
Thanks in advance.

Mike

I haven't done it, but I understand that you can convert your powerpoint
presentation to html, upload it to a folder on your website and link to it.
