Creating a relative link

| In Publisher 2003 I’m trying to create an instructional manual that has links
to various PDF forms. I need to be able to zip the site as well as burn it to
a CD for distribution. From what I have been able to determine is the problem
I am having is that the links are persistent and I need to create relative
links. I have put all the files in the index_files folder but I don’t know
the syntax to create a relative link. When I go to create the hyperlink I
select “Existing Files or Folders”, “Current Folder”, what is the syntax I
need to put in the Address field to link to my file which is in the
index_files folder lets say the file name is test.pdf . I have tried in
quotes “index_file\test.pdf”, no quotes index_file\test.pdf. Any help would
greatly be appreciated.

| links are absolute or relative
absolute looks like; http://www.yourwebname.com/image.gif
relative might look like this image.gif or imagefolder/image.gif and a
zillion other variations.
