I am unable to upload my web site, created in MS Publisher, to the Hostway
server. They say they do not support MS Publisher. I have noted that some
people have successfully uploaded. Ho do I do this?

Read the directions in the support section of Hostway about how to upload.

Thank You, I have tried all of that and the site will still not upload.
Hostway tells me that their Linux server will not accept Publisher, but it
will accept Front Page. How do I do this?
Thank You

Jenny,
What is your real problem?

Are you using FTP or Publish to the Web.?

What errors ar you getting?

If you are using FTP what file names are you trying to transfer and
where are you trying to put them at the server?

Files should upload however they were generated even if there is
someting wrong and they won't browse correctly but the server should not
care.

There is a difference between FrontPage the program, and FrontPage server
extensions (FPSE). When Hostway says that they support FrontPage, that also
means that they support FPSE. You use the FPSE to upload via HTTP uploading
protocol. Thus you can upload your Publisher pages the same way that you
upload Frontpage pages. You must use HTTP uploading if you have a form on
your site. Otherwise you can use FTP uploading.

Go back and read the articles again more carefully, including the
troubleshooting article. Now that you understand the difference between FPSE
and FrontPage, perhaps they will be more understandable.
