| AFAIK, Pub doesn't have this built in function, especially in a
template. Here's a script that was suggested in another web design
group: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex9/password.htm

| In addition to what Mike suggested, every host will offer some means of
providing a password protected folder. How they do that depends on the host,
so check the FAQs and support section at your host's site.
Your question is a bit confusing, but if you are saying that you want just
one part of your website password protected, you can produce that part with
a second Publisher document. Then upload it to the password protected folder
on your site and link it to your main site.

| You may need to chat with your ISP for the particulars. I have a couple of
Publisher 2000 websites and the method I use is what is offered by my ISP.
Read items 32 and 33 for particulars at
http://www.iinet.com/support/faqlis...t=web%20hosting
Also, you may visit my test site and see a couple of User ID/Password
protected folders. Similar setup can protect the entire website.

Good luck,
