Alan,

Generally this would be accomplished by an ALT tag for each image.
Alternative text makes your web page accessible to users with disabilities,
who may use screen readers, and those users that do not load the images when
they view your site. Select your image > Format > Picture > Web tab.

However, in Pub 2003 the alt tag is not visible by mouseover. The only
workaround to make the alt tag work in the way you want, is to import the
images along with the link, and that is a tad complicated.

Furthermore, using ALT tags for this purpose is not the best approach in
terms of usability. If you require a mouseover that generates a tool tip or
an alt tag to communicate information to a viewer, it will not be seen by
the majority. Don't hide information from your viewers. Yes, you should use
ALT tags, but also put the name in a caption/text box below the image and
insert an additional link to the personal details in the text box.
