| ( I posted this message in the wrong subject earlier sorry!)
A bit long sorry.........
I have a form on a page of my website. It gives my possible customers a
chance to contact me with enquires or comments. The messages come direct to
my email.
The problem I am finding is that I am getting messgaes via this well which I
think are VERY INAPPROPIATE (if you know what I mean) Does any one know how
I can stop these as I am finding it a little distressing.
A customer has also contacted me and said she sent me a message which I did
not recieve so I am also wondering if there is some kind of possible virus
attached.
Please help!

| Naomi,
You posted this after reading my reply in the "wrong group." I take it
you didn't like the answer?

| There is a quick solution for the problem of getting inappropriate
messages...its called the delete key. Seriously, if you solicit email via a
website, and even if you don't, you are going to get "inappropriate"
messages. That's just part of putting yourself out there on the internet. I
get around 200 - 300 spam messages a day, and the majority of them are
"inappropriate"...I have learned to live with it. Most of mine are caught up
by the spam filter, but I still have to scan the subjects and senders for
legit messages.
With that said, read the next post about "incorporating Captcha with
Publisher". You could at least slow people down a bit with the spam by
switching to the soupermail form program, but it would take more work than
hitting the delete key.
Sorry there isn't a good answer for this...it just comes with the business
of posting a website.
