Help! I am having problems publishing to the web. I set my FTP site, user name and password but it doesn't seem to connect except sporadically. Rarely....

Another problem...my hyperlinks to pdf documents do not follow through. They are not being added to the index_files folder and do not work. What did I do wrong?

I am using Publisher 2003 and my site is on Aplus, 3amigosclinic.com.

To say more of what is happening. When I try to connect to the FTP site I get a blank window, like its an empty file. If I try to save to it it says that its a read only file. The few times I've actually connected right I get the folders the provider has supplied and I can save to the root folder. I am averaging about one connection to every 20 or so tries! I've modified the FTP site and deleted it and put it back in again to no avail.

This sounds like a problem with Aplus, but could be other things. Reference
these articles on uploading and troubleshooting and see if that will lead to
a solution:

Also you may prefer to use a dedicated FTP program to upload your files and
have less problems. Here is a freebie:

Your site loads slow here. Is there really in excess of 600 pages? I'm a
Publisher 2000 user so things may be much different.

The problem with linking to your pdf files is the hyperlink is pointing to
your C drive, My Documents folder; should point to a folder on the server.
Rewrite the links and verify you've uploaded the pdf files.
