Well Joan,
I guess i'm just not as savy as yourself.
Although I read the link you posted for me, I still don't understand why you
would spend your time and efforts to post the link, when my question would
have probably been much easier to answer.
-----------------------------------
So let me ask again...
What is a Full PSD file for web design?

The very first link is titled "What is a PSD File and How Can It Help Me?"
That site answers your question.

JoAnn,

Maybe you are trying to be nice and everything, but I read that page you
linked.
I do not remember anything in reference to PSD files.

I really am trying to help. Honest. The first link is
http://www.basictemplates.com/psd.shtml and it tells you about PSD
(Photoshop) files and how they can help a web designer. If that's not what
you need, I'm sorry.

So JoAnn -

Do people set up their whole screen in Photoshop and save the PSD to an HTM?
Wouldn't that be a large file for a viewer to download and read?
sorry to bother you, but if that's how a web page is built, I am shocked.

- Scott

Scott,

Not any good designers I know of. More than likely, the only thing they
would use PS for is image manipulation.
