Author Converting Publisher3 brochure to web page

My goal is to create a website. I already created a brochure in Publisher
2003. Is there a way to convert the brochure to web site and then add to ihe
site additional pages? Do I have to have the website first, or will
Microsoft supply one for purchase through Publisher?

Windows Live? I didn't see how that was a website. Any other suggestions?

I think Mary might have been thinking about Office Live:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/o...1465131033.aspx

Here you have three options, and the Office Live Basics is a free service
that allows you to create a website using a template and hosting space
provided by MSFT. You cannot upload a Publisher built website to this
host...you must use the template, but perhaps that is an easy answer for
you.

If that isn't enough, then you should take some time to decide exactly what
you want. Personally I think that if you want to produce your site with
Publisher then I would not use Microsoft's Office Live paid versions. You
can get hosting a whole lot cheaper elsewhere.

I also think you need to do some reading. Here are some references you
should read now before deciding what you want to do in order to get a web
presence:

I would start with reading this article: Using Publisher for web sites :
http://msmvps.com/blogs/dbartosik/articles/80566.aspx

This is an interesting perspective:
http://www.webdevelopersjournal.com...c_graphics.html

Three top questions about publishing a Web site using Publisher 2003:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/p...=CH063577001033

Then Prepare, publish, and maintain your Publisher Web site:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/p...1053521033.aspx

Convert a print newsletter for use on the Web:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/p...1030981033.aspx

Ultimately what you decide depends on what your goals for your site are. If
all you want is a simple, static website, then Publisher can work for you.
Spend some time now thinking through the process and what your options are,
before you dive in. It will save you a lot of time, money and frustration in
the long run.

Hello Mike, Some stuff is good even if it is free. Pixie, Irfanview, Movie
Maker...

If it were me and I had a great brochure I would have all my friends sign-up for
a gmail account and send it to all the folks as HTML through gmail. That way you
don't have to learn anything.

And it would probably still end up looking like crap, though I cannot
say for sure. I send newsletters via phpList (or something like that)
that allows the subscriber to specify how they want to receive the
latest and greatest. It tends to format the HTML perfectly. BTW, it is
free, which sort of disproves my posit!
