Author Unwanted Hyperlink to Home page

I'm using Publisher 2003. On the Web Preview Page, each of my Page Headings
is preceded with an underlined #, which is a hyperlink to the Home Page. How
can I get rid of the #; I don't want a link to the home page via each Page
Heading since the Navigation Bar is already doing that.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Does the hyperlink show in the Publisher document before you do the web
preview? Please don't be insulted, but have you tried deleting it? If this
doesn't do it, please explain using other words with more detail, and we'll
try again.

I understand, the same thing has happened with me. I'm sorry I don't know how
to amend it as like you I'm hoping someone will offer "us" some advice. For
me the # is only shown when previewing the page but whilst editing the page
nothing extras is shown. Please help..................

I finally discovered that I could delete the unwanted character. I noted a
very small dot (smaller than a period) on the design page; when I deleted
that from the design page, the # disappeared in the published preview page.
The # did not appear on the design page. Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Jerry

When in doubt, click on View/source. Use F4 (find) and enter #. That
should give you an idea where on the page it is (you might also have
success using this in the Pub file).
