Problem browsing website created with Publisher 2003

| I just uploaded a new website. It can be viewed and works correctly when
browsing with Mozilla Firefox and/or Microsoft IE ver 7. However, the
friend I created it for is having problems with an earlier version of IE (I
believe ver.6). The long URL does work for her but not the short. The home
page opens, but nav bar links lead to blank pages. Do you think this is an
issue with IE 6 or with the short URL? Any suggestions for a remedy?
Both links are shown below:
http://home.mchsi.com/~one-on-one/h...erswebpage2.htm
www.hc1on1.vze.com
Thanks!

| Abby,
DNS does not have the short website registered:
Whois Server Version 1.3
Domain names in the .com and .net domains can now be registered
with many different competing registrars. Go to http://www.internic.net
for detailed information.
No match for domain "HC1ON1.VZE.COM".
I could not reach it using Mozilla.

| The short URL doesn't work because Publisher writes relative links when you
use the navbar wizard. The short URL frames the site, which leaves the
relative links "broken". You can look at the source code to see the
difference. You either do not frame a Publisher site, or if you must, then
you don't use the navbar wizard...you build your own using absolute links.
Interesting you say that IE7 does work. This might be an improvement over
IE6.

| Thanks DavidF! I removed the navbar and replaced with absolute links and the
IE6 users say it works fine now! I appreciate the help.
Thanks again,
Abby
