I'm creating a website for our Church and I would like to create a sentence,
"Updated Information on this page" which would flash on and off to draw the
reader's attention.

You can use <blink></blink> but this doesn't work in all browsers. A web
guru once told me if I have to resort to something like this, I'm not
designing my site correctly.
