Linking my 2 Publisher webpages
|
|
|
| Hello,
I'm having trouble linking my 2 web pages together. I've uploaded my
index.htm into my yahoo hosting account, and the home page works great, but
when I click on the Posters button, the next page says, "This page could not
be found".
When I added a page, I right clicked on the #1 (#1 being the first page)
down at the bottom of the Publisher Program and clicked "Insert Dublicate
Page" and I made the necessary changes to that page of the products I wanted
to show.
When I view the website by clicking "Web Page Preview" everything works
great, but when I put it out on the web. Just my first page appears.
What can I do?
Thanks, in advance

| My guess is that its probably one of two things.
1. You said you uploaded the index.htm file...perhaps you did not upload the
rest of the files, and all the images, that are probably in a index_files
folder? When you Publish to the Web, Publisher produces both an index.htm
file and an index_files folder.
2. Your Yahoo hosting account is framing your website, which will break the
navbar links. Usually if you go to your website in IE, then View > Source
the html code will open in NotePad. You will usually read references to the
site being framed. Post the website URL if you can't decide. There is
probably a workaround...
And if I guessed wrong, post back with which version of Publisher you use
and the URL.
